A big advantage of a charging point with a fixed charging cable is that the cable does not always have to be stored: you do not have to bring a wet cable in your car if it has rained. A disadvantage of a fixed cable is that only vehicles with one type of connection can be charged. These charging stations are also more sensitive to vandalism, and are therefore less suitable for public spaces.
